Iro & Omi Sculptures

Omi and Iro are two new sculptural pieces that explore the space between object and accessory—ceramic forms inspired by the familiar shape of a handbag, reimagined as decorative art. Handmade in ceramic, each piece blurs the boundary between accessory and art object, emphasising shape, texture, and material contrast over function. Designed purely as decorative sculptures, they invite a closer look at everyday forms reimagined.

Omi
Compact and grounded, Omi features a softly faceted ceramic body finished in a muted, speckled green glaze. Its lower profile and restrained palette give it a calm, architectural presence.

Iro
Slightly taller and more open in form, Iro is defined by its gently folded rim and warmer beige glaze tones that break along the edges. The contrasting rope handle adds movement and a sense of tension to the silhouette.
